After making a small fortune in the arms trade during the mid-18th century, the renowned Gaubert family decided to expand their property with a very fashionable accessory of the time, a vineyard!
Keeping with their arms experiance though, the Gaubert family still manages to create wines with plenty of bang for their buck! - with their 2009 vintage of Graves being no exception.
50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, Graves 2009 is a deep garnet red wine with a rich and varied bouquet of ripe black fruits such as blackcurrant and blueberry. Full-bodied, medium acidity, fairly firm and packed with ripe tannins.
We suggest enjoying this wine with grilled red meat, or rich game.
