The origin of the Ambroise house date back to the mid 18th century when the Ambroise family settled into the small village of Premeaux-Prissey, near Nuits Saint Georges.
Bertrand Ambroise took over the house in 1987 and, as a fervent wine lover with a deep passion for his vineyard, went on to develop an estate which today reaches an incredible 21 hectares!
The Ambroise family has always been very passionate about winemaking, only ever using organic farming methods for "your pleasure" - a philosophy which has led to the creation of so many fantastic wines.
Their Bourgogne Pinot Noir stands as a testament to this thinking. Fresh, rustic and very earthy nose of red and dark pinot fruit aromas leads to nicely rich, round and energetic flavors. Bright and crunchy fruit, with nice spice and bright acidity.
An extremely charming and refreshing Pinot which works perfectly with that seared fish dishes.
