Reducing waste.. one cocktail at a time…
Innovative and cool, the team at Hyke use imported leftover table grapes (that are too tiny to be fit for sale in UK supermarkets, and would usually be thrown away) as the base for their innovative gin. They then turn the grape juice into wine, and the wine into grape spirit (along with the usual grain spirit) before blending with 16 botanicals. These include myrrh, cumin, rooibos, green + black cardamom and bay leaf.
The result is an aromatic, spicy gin with hints of citrus =- presented in a bottle which is made from fully recyclable material.
