Irish Coffee

Coffee and alcohol, a seemingly unconventional pairing, but it works. Add sugar syrup to sweeten if desired and drink through the cream.

This original recipe dates back to at least 1910 but it was in the 1940s when Joe Sheridan, the barman at Foynes in County Limerick created the cocktail that we are familiar with today.

Simple yet effective. Coffee with an added Whiskey kick.
