Products from The Botanist
This unusual, small batch dry gin actually hails from a whisky distillery on Islay, an island better known for its malt whiskies than gin. But this gin could be said to sum up the bounty, beauty and dare we say it, soul of this Hebridean island in a glass.
Produced in a Lomond still known as ‘Ugly Betty’, this unique gin contains 31 botanicals, 22 of which are hand-foraged from the windswept Atlantic beaches, heather covered hills and peat bogs of the island.
Not unsurprisingly, given its name and the number of locally sourced botanicals, this hand crafted gin is often described as floral and fragrant.
