Products from Gospel Green Cyder Co Ltd
The story of Gospel Green starts in 1990, James Lane went about making his own artisan cider, to try and convince his wife Cathy, a lifelong cider-opposer, that it was possible to produce a super sophisticated cider worthy of her attention. Much to Cathy’s delight, the resulting cider was delicious - so James decided to make more.
James’ creation was a light, delicate cider, similar in texture and taste to a sparkling wine or champagne. Their apples are handpicked from Hampshire’s Blackmoor Estate, converted to cider using the ‘champagne method’, to guarantee supreme quality and taste. Brock Bergius took over in 2016, and to this day James’ original recipe is still used in their core Brut expression.
