Products from Abelha
<p><span>Made organically by local farmers in the Bahia region of Brazil, freshly cut sugarcane is first gathered and then delivered to the Abelha Distillery. Following fermentation the cachaca (pronounced: ka-sha-sa) wine is distilled in traditional copper pot stills known as alambique in order to produce this unique sugar-cane spirit.
</span></p><p><span>Following the carefully controlled and monitored production process, the cachaca is aged for six months to produce the fruity Abelha Silver, with its apricot and honey notes. Abelha Gold is aged in Garapeira wood barrels for three years to give it its full honey and tropical fruit aroma and its balsamic spice taste. </span></p>
