As the leading lady of the sartorial film world once said, florals for Spring? Groundbreaking. And what better way to enjoy florals in Spring, than in a cocktail?!
Up first is the Rosé Tonic - just what it says on the tin, or should that be bottle? This is a bit of a cheat on the theme, as rather than rose, it’s actually rosé. Versatile & light, this bitter sweet vermouth is a Summery blend of pink grapefruit, Sevilla orange and raspberry. Enjoy 50ml of Belsazar Rosé with a premium light tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit for gratuitous garden sipping.
This blushing beauty is Lake’s Distillery’s Pink Lady. Made using their brand new Rhubarb & Rosehip liqueur, this tangy twist on a creamy White Lady is an excellent early evening cocktail - balancing out a smoky BBQ flavour perfectly, if you can’t face anymore lukewarm beers.
Add 50ml Rhubarb & Rosehip Gin Liqueur, 20ml Lemon Juice, 10ml Grenadine, 25ml Cloudy Apple Juice & 15ml Egg White to a cocktail shaker and shake hard, twice. First without ice, and second with. Then strain into a coupette glass and enjoy.
