Every festival has different rules about what kind of drinks you can and can't take along, and a lot of their websites are unclear on alcohol policy. It's confusing! We trawled the web and spoke to organisers to bring you this quick but definitive 2015 guide...

22nd - 23rd May & 12th - 13th June
No camping; no alcohol can be taken into the arena. 18+ only event - I.D. required.
BRITISH SUMMER TIME AT HYDE PARK
18th - 28th June
No camping; No alcohol can be taken into the arena. No food or drink allowed in ticketed events, except water in unopened plastic containers of up to 500ml.
ISLE OF WIGHT
11th - 14th June
Alcohol allowed in the campsite, but no glass - a "moderate amount not crate loads" [sic]. No food or drink can be taken into the arena.
Make life easier for yourself - order drinks from us, have them delivered next day to your door, and decant into plastic containers in the comfort of your home - before you leave.
12th - 14th June
Alcohol allowed in the campsite - as much as you can carry - but no glass. No alcohol can be taken into the arena. However, you can take food and soft drinks into the arena (for your own consumption) as long as any soft drinks are in unopened, sealed plastic or paper containers of 500ml or less. Food hampers, cool bags and boxes are not allowed in the arena.
24th - 28th June
Alcohol (for personal consumption), food and soft drinks allowed into the campsite and arena (the two areas are not separated like most festivals), but no glass "...alcohol amounts considered beyond reasonable personal use will be confiscated at the gate."
T IN THE PARK
10th - 12th July
Alcohol allowed in the campsite, but no glass. No alcohol (or other drinks) can be taken into the arena. Free water taps are available across the site.
T in the Park added this: "Remember to bring ID as T in the Park operates a Challenge 25 system and if you look under 25 and don’t have ID then your alcohol will be confiscated at the gates.”
“Campers can carry less by buying cans of Tennent's Lager and Magners Original Cider in advance using Be Chilled, founding partner Tennent's Lager's pre-order service. Their chilled cans will be available for collection when they arrive at the campsite."
22nd - 23rd August
Alcohol allowed in the campsite, but no glass. No alcohol can be taken into the arena. Challenge 25 system in operation.
Pre-mixed cocktails in a jar! King Bloom Cocktails are ideal for Reading and Leeds, who allow glass containers. They also come in a party box of 12. Don't forget to pack the straws.
READING & LEEDS
28th - 30th August
Alcohol (for personal consumption) allowed in the campsite, including in glass, but no drinks can be taken into the arena. Food for personal consumption is allowed, and there are free 'water points'.
28th - 30th August
Alcohol allowed in the campsite, but no glass. There's an official restriction on quantity of alcohol per person: 1 crate of cans/plastic bottles (24 max.) & 1 litre of spirits (incl. wine). No alcohol, soft drinks or food can be taken into the arena.
10th - 13th September
Alcohol allowed in the campsite ("but only up to a reasonable amount per person e.g. one case of beer per person"), but no glass. No alcohol can be taken into the arena. Free 'water points' available. Challenge 25 system in operation.
