The Mimosa is named after a South American flowering shrub and it is believed to have been created in 1925 at The Ritz in Paris, but there is also a story that says the drink was created in the 1940s by Alfred Hitchock. Wherever it came from, there's no slowing this bottomless-brunch-drink-du-jour down.
