These Irish, spirit-based cocktails are a far tastier alternative for the Irish (and Irish-at-heart) to mix up at home this St Patrick’s day.

It’s a patron saint day synonymous with celebration. And celebration is synonymous with a ‘special’ drink or two...

So whilst Guinness is great, sure, we’d argue an Irish cocktail is a far more fitting tipple to get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit on Friday, March 17th.


We’re not knocking green cocktails – Mojitos, Appletinis, even a Death in the Afternoon has its time and place – we just feel that Saint Patrick is more deserving of a slightly ‘classier’ tipple.


A whiskey based long drink with a twist, or a creamy cup with a coffee kick, sure beats the headache-inducing green concoctions proffered by many as a worthy St. Patrick’s day cocktail.


The Dubliner Treacle Cocktail50ml Dubliner Irish Whiskey | 25ml Apple Juice | 12.5ml Sugar Syrup | 2 Dash Angostura Bitters

Old Fashioned in style, with an apple twist: Add The Dubliner Whiskey and other ingredients to a Rocks glass, over ice, and stir.


The Bees' Knees Cocktail


50 ml The Dubliner Honeycomb Whiskey Liqueur | 20ml Honey Syrup | 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice

Like a boozy Crunchie in a bottle, shake The Dubliner Honeycomb Whiskey Liqueur with honey, lemon juice & ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with lemon zest.


The Devil's Smash cocktail50ml Dublin Liberties Oak Devil Whiskey | 2 Wedges Lemon (Muddled) | 6-8 Mint Leaves | 12.5ml Honey Syrup

Muddle Dublin Liberties Oak Devil Whiskey with the other ingredients  into a Collins Glass, fill up with crushed ice and garnish with mint.

Feeney's Espresso Martini CocktailFEENEY'S ESPRESSO MARTINI

50ml Feeney’s Irish Cream Liqueur | 25ml Espresso Coffee | 25ml Premium Vodka | Coffee Beans

Using a cocktail shaker, shake Feeney's Irish Cream Liqueur with the  other and ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with three coffee  beans.
