Pococello

Pococello

This Limoncello brand is the product of a beautiful union between the Pizza Pilgrims of Soho (London) and the Chase Distillery, famous for their award-winning single estate spirits.

Pizza Pilgrims wanted to offer their customers a nice Limoncello, but couldn’t find any high quality stuff that was made from real lemons. Apparently most Limoncello that you can buy is mass-produced using lemon extract. Anyway, they decided that there was clearly a gap in the market and realised that in order to be able to offer customers the kind of Limoncello they’d like to drink themselves, they’d have to make it themselves.

They were looking for a drinks producer to work with them on this project when they – completely by chance – met one of the Chase family. They decided to partner-up and Pococello was born.

Pococello has half the sugar of other Limoncello and is made with whole fragrant Amalfi lemons (grown by 82-year-old Luigi Aceto in his family’s ancient lemon groves) and the finest English spirit, made from Chase’s potatoes on their estate in Herefordshire.
