If there is one thing Mexico is renowned for, it’s Tequila. The Paloma is a complex and carefully balanced cocktail. If you get it right, it should be sweet & sour, slightly bitter and if you garnish with a salt rim, it will have an additional kick to it.

Similar to a Margarita, but with a fruity twist.



  • 2 measures Tequila
  • 3 measures freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
  • ½ measure freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ measure agave syrup
  • Tonic water
  • Salt & lime wedge to garnish

How to serve it

  • In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients except the soda water.
  • Add plenty of ice and shake.
  • Strain into a Collins glass full of ice.
  • Top with soda and stir.
  • Garnish with a salt rim and lime wedge.
