Mimosa

The Mimosa is named after a south American flowering shrub and was created at the Ritz Hotel, Paris in 1925.

I generally serve Mimosas at large events, particularly summer weddings, although I reckon it’s a great alternative to a Bloody Mary at a Sunday brunch.

Try using grapefruit to give your Mimosa a different twist.

How to serve it

  • In a chilled Flute glass add all the ingredients.
  • Gently stir.
  • Garnish with an orange zest twist.
