Created in Soho, London in the 1980’s by Dick Bradsell, legend has it that a well-known supermodel asked him to prepare a cocktail that would "wake me up, and then f*** me up"… so Dick mixed the first Espresso Martini.
One of my personal favourites, this cocktail is another fantastic synchronisation of coffee and alcohol. When shaken, it gives the drink an irresistible velvety froth and is a dream to drink.
Don’t forget the 3 coffee bean garnish, the little touches make all the difference.
How to serve it
- In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients.
- Add plenty of ice and shake.
- Fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.
- Float 3 coffee beans to garnish.
