Benedictine D.O.M. Liqueur

Benedictine D.O.M. Liqueur

Alexandre Le Grand created the Bénédictine liqueur in 1863 in tribute to a secret elixir supposedly crafted by the Benedictine monk, Dom Bernardo Vincelli. The liqueur is made from a blend of 27 plants and spices. The slow preparation is a secret, closely guarded by the Master Distiller. So many have tried to replicate this recipe that a ‘Hall of counterfeits’ exists at its plant in Normandy.
